Maastricht Academy of Music is an internationally-oriented music academy. Maastricht lies at the centre of Europe, within a stone's throw from Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France. The Academy attracts students and (guest) lecturers from all corners of the world. This creates a dynamic environment, which permeates through all our classes, concerts and (international) projects.
Maastricht Academy of Music has two magnificent locations. The main building (Classical Music department) is situated in the historical "Jekerkwartier" neighbourhood, near the old city wall and park. The Jazz/Pop Department is situated on the banks of the river Meuse in the cosy quarter of Wyck (within walking distance from the train station).
