Exchange programme

The Maastricht Academy of Music is one of the twenty schools of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. With its 450 students, its accredited Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes and a team of 100 lecturers, the Maastricht Academy of Music offers its students a well-rounded course of study. Because it is located in the centre of the city of Maastricht, the Maastricht Academy of Music lets you discover the historical, gastronomic and cultural side of the city.

The Maastricht Academy of Music participates in the Erasmus study exchange programme.
When your home institution has an agreement with the Maastricht Academy of Music, you can simply enrol as an exchange student. If an agreement is not yet in place, contact your school’s International Office.

You will find a list here of our active partners.

Outgoing students
Often students meet an inspiring teacher during a master class. They find the master class so inspiring that they want to study for a longer period with this teacher.
An Erasmus exchange offers the opportunity to do this. It allows you to study abroad during your studies at the Maastricht Academy of Music. You will then study for between three months and one year at another school. The credits that you have obtained will simply be added to your total at Maastricht!
We are currently also investigating the option of offering Erasmus work placements.
